I've been thinking about how beliefs take root in our minds and how difficult it can be to open up to alternative ways of thinking. All those roots weaving in and out of an identity. The disruption it causes to pull them out.

This sculpture has a small sunflower seed on top and the seed is growing roots that reach deep into all parts of the head.
